Amalfi Coast wedding at Rocca Cilento Castle, Italy
Alexa and Paolo got married in a medieval castle above the Cilento hills, just south of the Amalfi Coast. One long summer day that started in quiet morning light and ended with sparklers after midnight.
The morning belonged to the stone rooms of Castello di Rocca Cilento: the dress by the window, paper parasols on the terrace, red gloves by the pool, the whole village of Rocca Cilento spread out below. The ceremony took place on the lawn above the infinity pool, with the valley and the sea haze behind the vows, and finished in a cloud of orange smoke. Dinner was served under a marquee in red, orange and citrus, and the night ended with cake, fireworks and a dance floor nobody left early.
